Giving parents a faith-based, character-building camp alternative where kids learn the fundamentals of golf and life.
More than any other sport, golf reinforces character development to make our kids better sons/daughters, classmates, and overall citizens. Our faith-based camp utilizes biblical principles to instill character-building life skills and virtues in a fun and memorable way. Each day at camp, we focus on one fruit of the spirit or virtue (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control) for the children to learn and apply to their daily lives.
Introducing more kids and families to the fun of golf by rewriting the way golf is taught and locations where golf can be played!
Unfortunately, golf is a sport that usually comes to people later in life. It is rare to see kids playing golf, especially in 4-9 age-range. The barriers to try golf are rewritten with our golf learning programs.
We are committed to giving back to our communities and offer free camps and scholarship opportunities to places and families in need.
A fun, games-based golf camp where kids have a blast playing and learning.
Our golf experiences are based on thoughtful training equipment and techniques focused on young kids (4-9 years; a demographic that is currently not served in the golf industry). Specially designed, age-appropriate golf training equipment helps kids find early success and learn proper techniques. Golf skills are taught through games, simple repetitive motions, learning rhymes, and multi-sport reinforcement, including air golf, frisbee/disc golf, and soccer/foot golf, keeping kids interested and engaged!
Our program recruits, trains, and certifies Christian college golfers, PGA and LPGA professionals, and golf coaches to run our golf camps programs. These low-handicap players understand the importance of training, discipline, and technique to play the game. Additionally, they are trained in areas unique to Payne Stewart Golf Camps, including multi-sport dynamics, child development, Christian leadership principles, and the importance of creating fun and engaging learning environments.
Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation helps to fund the expansion of golf learning experiences to lower-income and inner-city locations. Donations help to fund golf learning equipment, kids in need scholarships, and complete inner-city programs.
